Daily Memo
Red Lion name returns to Medford today The DoubleTree Hotel in Medford will officially become a Red Lion Hotel once again today. Aside from the name, no major changes are planned and the staff will remain intact. The hotel opened as a Red Lion in 1968. It was converted from a Red Lion to a DoubleTree two years ago. Promus Hotels, which owns the hotel at 200 N. Riverside Ave., is bringing the Red Lion name back to nine two- and three-star hotels that had been converted to DoubleTrees. |
