Drugs -- Theresa Eileen Jesus, 35, of 2211 Houston Road, Phoenix. The Oregon State Police arrested Jesus on Friday on a charge of possession of amphetamine. She was lodged in the Jackson County jail on $5,000 bail. Drugs -- Ricky Dean West, 32, of 1075 W. Eighth Street, Medford. Medford police arrested West on Friday on charges of possession of amphetamine and probation violation. He was lodged in the Jackson County jail without bail. Drugs -- Thomas Lloyd Taylor, 38, of Glendale. Medford police arrested Taylor on Friday on charges of possession of amphetamine and felon in possession of a restricted weapon. He was lodged in the Jackson County jail on $9,000 bail. Crime reports Theft -- Spring Creek Drive, Ashland, reported to Ashland police at 12:30 p.m. Friday. A backhoe bucket worth $750 was stolen. Theft -- Bureau of Land Management, Highway 227, reported to Jackson County sheriff's deputies at 10 a.m. Friday. Gravel rock from a stockpile was stolen. Value was $3,000. Stolen vehicle -- 500 block of South Riverside Avenue, reported to Medford police at 4:34 p.m. Friday. Burglary -- 200 block of Berrydale Avenue, reported to Medford police at 2:51 p.m. Friday.

Medford police arrested Johansen on Saturday on charges of possession, delivery and manufacture of amphetamine, and manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school. He was lodged in the Jackson County jail on $65,000 bail. Theft -- Donn Reeves Fincher, 18, of Selma. Rogue River Police arrested Fincher on Saturday on charges of first-degree theft, giving false information about a vehicle, second-degree trespass and possession of amphetamine. He was lodged in the Jackson County jail on $27,000 bail. Assault -- Alisa Marie Brelan, 35, of 2285 Fowler Lane, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Brelan on Saturday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault. She was lodged in the Jackson County jail on $5,000 bail. Assault -- Ronald Dean Hastings, 49, of 2829 Hawaiian, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Hastings on Saturday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in the Jackson County jail on $5,000 bail. Assault -- James Michael West Jr., 31, of 2851 Seckel Court, Medford. Medford police arrested West on Friday on charges of felony fourth-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a minor. He was lodged in the Jackson County jail on $9,000 bail. Car theft -- Susan Ruth Pridy, 48, of 2240 Crestbrook Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Pridy on Friday on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was lodged in the Jackson County jail on $5,000 bail. Drugs -- Barbara Sue Newcomb, 24, address unknown. Medford police arrested Newcomb on Friday on a warrant for possession of amphetamine. She was lodged in the Jackson County jail on $10,000 bail. Crime reports Burglary -- 400 block of Red Blanket Road, Prospect, reported to Jackson County sheriff's deputies at 9:19 a.m. Saturday. Theft -- 1700 block of Rogue River Highway, reported to Jackson County sheriff's deputies at 10:59 a.m. Saturday. A bike valued at $1,200 was reported stolen. It was located and returned to the owner. Stolen vehicle -- 2000 block of North Highway 99, reported to Jackson County sheriff's deputies at 1:33 p.m. Saturday. A 1989 Chevrolet was stolen. The Oregon license plate number was QMV 291. Burglary -- 1700 block of Homes Avenue, reported to Ashland police at 8:12 a.m. Saturday. Candy was stolen from a Little League concession stand. Value was $300.

Webbe was arrested by Medford police Sunday evening on charges of unlawful possession of a weapon (gun) and being an ex-convict in possession of a weapon. He was lodged in Jackson County Jail on $25,000 bail. Drugs -- Richard Jay Tijerina, 30, of 521 S. Holly St., Medford. Tijerina was arrested by Medford police Sunday morning on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in Jackson County Jail on $5,000 bail. Drugs -- Gregory Joseph Maillet, 30, of 523 S. Holly St. Maillet was arrested by Medford police Sunday morning on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in Jackson County Jail on $5,000 bail. Drugs -- Herbert Hoover Morris Jr., 48, of 2224 Gladstone Ave., White City. Morris was arrested by Medford police early Sunday morning on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in Jackson County Jail on $5,000 bail. Fugitive -- Edward William McElhenny, 36, of 1018 Olympic Ave., Medford. McElhenny was arrested by Medford police late Saturday night on charges of parole violation, giving false information to police, possession of methamphetamine and being a fugitive from California. He was lodged in Jackson County Jail without bail.
Crime reports Hit and run -- Jackson County sheriff's deputies seek the arrest of a motorist in connection with a crash Saturday night near Central Point. According to a report, the crash occurred about 9:42 p.m. in the 5900 block of Upton Road when the driver of a white 1986 Cadillac sedan lost control and slammed head-on into a Pacific Power utility pole. The driver fled the scene, the report said. Deputies were unsure if he was injured. Nobody else was in the car. Deputies later identified the driver as Raymond E. Hoffman, 48, of Central Point. They would like to arrest him for hit-and-run, driving suspended and criminal mischief. |
