Dianne M. Dahle, 49, of Ashland, died Monday (May
31, 1999) at Rogue Valley Medical Center. Arrangements will be announced by

Arnold E. Buehring
Arnold E. Buehring, 84, of Central Point, died
Sunday (May 30, 1999) at Hearthstone Manor. A private service was held.
He was born Feb. 23, 1915, in St. Paul, Minn.
On July 8, 1938, in St. Paul, he married Elizabeth Pedrow, who survives. He moved to
the Rogue Valley nine years ago from Billings, Mont.
Mr. Buehring was a welder/pipe fitter for Albrecht Construction of Bridger, Mont.
He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Bonnie Higdon, Central
Point, and Judy Lynn, Gresham; a son, Rex, Billings, Mont.; a sister, Adine Wright, St.
Paul, Minn.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death
by a brother, Walter.

Jack R. McKay
The memorial service for Jack R. McKay will be at 2
p.m. Sunday, June 13, in the home of his grandson, 997 Beeson Lane, Talent. Mr. McKay, 70,
of Phoenix, died Sunday (May 30, 1999) at his home.
The day of the memorial service was incorrect in a previous obituary.
Marion M. Petersen
The funeral for Marion M. Petersen will be at 9 a.m.
today at Central Valley Chapel, 800 S. Front St., Central Point. Graveside services will
follow in Rock Point Cemetery in Gold Hill.
Mrs. Petersen, 76, of Gold Hill, died Saturday (May 29, 1999) at Providence Medford
Medical Center.
She was born Marion Murphy on Dec. 8, 1922, in Minot, N.D.
On Feb. 15, 1957, in Dallas, Ore., she married Darrell Petersen, who survives.
Mrs. Petersen had lived in the Rogue Valley since 1976, when she moved from Trinity
Center, Calif.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed flowers and gardening.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, John Durham and Rodney Durham,
both of Central Point; three daughters, Bonnie Dennington, Central Point, Patricia Wilson,
Grape View, Wash., and Vicki Hamilton, Dallas, Ore.; a brother, Kenneth Murphy, Moses
Lake, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a
brother, Burt Murphy; and a sister, Vivian Morris.

Carl Walton Grimes
The memorial service for Carl Walton Grimes will be
at 11 a.m. today in the Valley of the Rogue Chapel Church of the Nazarene in Rogue River.
Pastor Tom Fletcher will officiate. The memorial graveside service will follow at 2 p.m.
at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Grimes, 60, of Rogue River, died Sunday (May 30, 1999) at Rogue Valley Medical
Center.

He was born March 1, 1939, in Waynesboro, Tenn.
On July 1, 1960, in Oceanside, Calif., he married Ruth Marrett, who survives. He moved
to the Rogue Valley in March 1998 from San Juan Capistrano, Calif.
Mr. Grimes worked for the postal service.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from September 1959 to April 1969.
Mr. Grimes was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, and the
National Riflemen's Association.
He was a member of the Valley of the Rogue Chapel Church of the Nazarene in Rogue
River.
Mr. Grimes enjoyed hunting, fishing and softball.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Thomas Trevor, Upland, Calif.,
and David Mark, Laguna Niguel, Calif.; a daughter, Victoria Lee McCarrell, Rancho Santa
Margarita, Calif.; his mother, Olive Janet Cole, Sikeston, Mo.; two brothers, Thomas Leon,
Doniphan, Mo., and Lonnie Ray Cole, in Washington; and five grandchildren. He was preceded
in death by his father, Ophne Grimes; his stepfather, Olle Cole; and a brother.
