State board to attend film group's meeting

The Oregon Film and Video Board and the state office's executive director, David Woolson, will hold their quarterly meeting in Ashland.

Thursday's meeting will give members of the Southern Oregon Film and Video Association a chance to see how the board works and to ask questions. Some Southern Oregon filmmakers have raised concerns that the board doesn't represent the southern part of the state well.

The meeting is at 7 p.m. Thursday at 4th Street Studio, 281 Fourth St. in Ashland.
