Medford Mayor Jerry Lausmann returned home Monday after a fractured bone caused an extended stay in the hospital.

"I managed to hobble home," he said with a laugh. "It is nice to be back."

Lausmann suffered the fracture in his pelvic area April 11, when he slipped on the grass after the Pear Blossom Parade. He was treated at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
