Felony arrests

  • Vehicle theft, identity theft — Ian Patrick Robertson, 31, no known street address, Medford. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Friday arrested Robertson on charges of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, identity theft and seven out-of-county warrants. He was

    lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Saturday on $145,000 bail.

  • Drugs — Amanda Katherine Leroy, 26, of the 2600 block of Rosewood Street, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Leroy on charges of possession of methamphetamine and a probation violation. She was lodged in jail without bail.

  • Sodomy — Edward Lane Dux, 58, of the 2300 block of Coventy Lane, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Dux on a charge of first-degree sodomy. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Saturday on $1 million bail.

  • Assault — Charles Walter Thompson, 26, of the 1000 block of Niantic Street, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Thompson on charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment, strangulation and endangering the welfare of a minor. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Saturday on $16,000 bail.

  • Burglary, theft, tampering — Luis Raymond Villa, 24, of the 700 block of Manzanita Street, Central Point. A sheriff’s deputy Saturday arrested Villa on charges of first- degree burglary, first-degree theft and two counts of tampering with a witness. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Saturday on $35,000 bail.

    Crime reports

  • Theft — 100 block of Western Avenue, Medford. Medford police Saturday took a report in which two DVD screens were stolen from a vehicle. The total value of items lost was $1,030.
