Felony arrests

  • Assault — Damen Ryan Todd, 18, of the 2500 block of Hawaiian Avenue, Medford. Medford police Tuesday arrested Todd on charges of harassment and two counts of fourth-degree assault. He was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.

  • Identity theft, forgery, fraud — William Glenn Fullenwider, 29, of the 2100 block of Milford Drive, Medford. Fullenwider appeared Tuesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with two counts of identity theft, two counts of first-degree theft, first-degree forgery and credit card fraud. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.

  • Burglary, theft — Trevor Mills, 19, of the 700 block of Terra Avenue, Ashland. Mills appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with first-degree burglary and first-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.

  • Drugs — Richelle Anna Scherer, 35, of the 2100 block of Arnold Avenue, Grants Pass. Scherer appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with possession of methamphetamine. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance.

  • Drugs — Timothy Eugene Ruiz, 27, of the first block of South Columbus Avenue, Medford. Ruiz appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of methamphetamine and two counts of carrying a concealed weapon. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.

  • Burglary — Matthew Wayne McKenzie, 28, of the 2000 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Medford police Tuesday arrested McKenzie on charges of first-degree burglary and harassment. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $23,000 bail.

    Crime reports

  • Vehicle theft — 300 block of East Fifth Street, Medford. Medford police Tuesday took a report in which a 2005 Jeep Cherokee valued at $24,000 was stolen.
