Murphy, a former Miss Oregon USA who attended both Rogue Community College and Southern Oregon University, was "fired" by Donald Trump along with three other contestants on the financier’s TV reality show "The Apprentice."

Murphy has twice previously ended up in "the boardroom" — the area at the climax of each episode from where Trump whittles the field of candidates — only to have another contestant be eliminated.

She was not as lucky Wednesday night. Calling the performance of Murphy’s "Excel" team "the worst defeat we’ve ever had," Trump fired four team members — the most ever removed during a single episode.

Among the nine remaining "apprentices" is Alla Wartenberg, the former Las Vegas stripper who was a key witness in the trial of murderer Robert Acremant.
