A look at the inside of Hagen's Fine Art Gallery in Medford

A new gallery opens its doors

There’s a new art venue in Southern Oregon.

Hagen’s Fine Art Gallery in the Medford Center next to Tinseltown, holds 3,030 square feet of gallery space that will host rotating exhibits, collectable art, limited editions, custom framing and custom laser engraving, along with collectable pieces from the Greenwich Workshop.

Gallery owner and director Carol Hagen and art consultant Jillian Coldiron share considerable experience in fine arts.

"We can locate just about any art that the customer is looking for," Hagen says.

The gallery’s inaugural exhibit, "Rediscovering Realism," marks the beginning of the new venue and includes works by local artists Charlene Brussat, Kevin Christman, Rebecca Gabriel, Marla Samuel and Lucy Warnick.

The pieces all delve into the world of realism and mediums vary from oil on canvas to acrylic, watercolor and sculpture.

The exhibit will be open through July 14.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.
