Registered sex offender, 22, has failed to report
Local authorities want help in finding a Medford sex offender who they say has violated his probation.
Medford Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon are looking for Gary Allen Moore, who will be 23 on Thursday.
Moore has arrests and convictions for second-degree theft, delivery and possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal mistreatment.
Medford police arrested Moore in November 2003. At his trial, he pleaded guilty to the charge of second-degree sexual abuse and was sentenced to three years probation, 30 days in jail, a
$997 fine, and required to enter treatment and to register as a sex offender. In January, he was arrested and convicted of third-degree assault.
As a registered sex offender, Moore is required by law to report his new address within 10 days of moving or within 10 days of his birthday. The last time Moore registered was June 14, when he gave a
Medford address. When he failed to comply with the terms of his probation, a statewide felony warrant was issued for his arrest.
Moore is a white male adult, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. Moore has multiple tattoos, including the words "Jay" and
"Nato" on his upper right arm; "Bent" and "Bandito" on his upper left arm; Jesus and a cross on his chest. He also has pierced ears and several scars. The picture
