Felony arrests

Probation violation — Joel Christopher Neeser, 28, of Grants Pass. Wednesday, Neeser appeared before a Jackson County judge on an indictment charging him with probation violation (possession of methamphetamine). He was booked in jail and released.

Theft — Cecil Johnson Rolls, 33, of 5501 Rogue River Drive, Eagle Point. Rolls appeared before a Jackson County judge Wednesday on an indictment charging him with two counts of aggravated theft, six counts of credit card theft and on count of identity theft. He was booked in jail and released.

Drugs — Kyle Jeffrey Swigart, 33, of 1116 W. Fourth St., Medford. Swigart appeared before a Jackson County judge Wednesday on an indictment charging him with possession of methamphetamine. Swigart was booked in jail and released.

Added charge — Matthew James Brunson, 34, no address available. Brunson was lodged in jail Tuesday following an arrested by Jackson County sheriff’s deputies. Wednesday, a charge of probation violation was added.

Added charge — Joshua Vincent Giorgi, 19, no address available. Wednesday, a charge of probation violation was added. Giorgi was originally lodged in jail Monday after being arrested by sheriff’s deputies.

Warrant — Shavonn Stephanie Foster, 21, of 1416 Whitmas St., Medford. Tuesday night, Foster was arrested by Oregon State Police after she was stopped for a traffic violation at the intersection of Table Rock and Villas roads around 11 p.m. Police discovered Foster had a warrant from Medford for possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail without bail.

Unauthorized use of motor vehicle — Ronald Cody Ragsdale, 21, of 349 West Pine St., No. 4, Central Point. Ragsdale appeared before a Jackson County judge Tuesday on an indictment charging him with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in jail and released.

Added charges — Kenneth Allen West, 23, no address available. West, who was originally lodged in jail Dec. 23, was charged with third-degree theft Wednesday.

Added charges — Brent Lee Gordon, 25, no address available. Gordon, who was originally lodged in jail Dec. 25, was charged with harassment Wednesday.

Crime reports

Vandalism — A CAT loader, parked along Butte Falls Highway, was vandalized Wednesday. According to sheriff’s deputies, damage to the CAT’s windows was estimated at $1,000.

Miscellaneous

Dryer malfunction — No one was injured after a fire, caused by an electrical short in the wiring, broke out in a Grants Pass assisted living facility Wednesday.

According to reports from the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety and Rural Metro, the fire at Vintage Suites was reported around 1 p.m.

An estimated 74 residences were evacuated, fire department officials report, and the blaze was contained to a single dryer in the laundry room on the second floor of the facility.
